One of the main problems for anyone involved in sports who is required to constantly wear shoes are blisters. This problem is more common if you are wearing a new pair of shoes.

Co-Founders Stephen Annicchiarico and John Rossi, both growing up in Adelaide, Australia and participating in a wide variety of sports, shared the same frustration many athletes experience due to a hefty sporting schedule. Stephen Annicchiarico is a semi-professional soccer player, playing his trade in the Australian Second Division with the National Premier League outfit SA, Adelaide Blue Eagles. He is also studying a combination of Law and Commerce degrees at the University of Adelaide. This ensures that he has sound knowledge of all business matters and ensures Fortisocks meet the needs of all customers.

John Rossi, who also formally played soccer at Junior and Senior Level, currently studies Physiotherapy at Flinders University. He will receive his Physiotherapy minor in Health Science in the coming weeks and his practicing degree after that. Design and testing

That’s not all just words, one package of Fortisocks came in for testing. Testing was conducted for a period of three weeks where Fortisocks were tested while running both short and long distances.

Because Fortisocks are translucent in appearance they are similar to women’s stockings. I have feeling that this could get in the way for some of the male population. But you definitely need to keep in mind that the product should not be judged by appearance and don’t jump to conclusions until you have tried it first. Here aesthetics are less important.

The reason why Fortisocks are thin and transparent is because they are worn under standard running or sports socks. Because they are thin, you can’t feel them while running. What I liked very much that you can slip running sock over them without problem, even compression socks.

There are few rules you need to know before wearing Fortisocks. Rules are written on a small piece of paper that comes in the package. Some of the rules are: trim that long toenails and don’t wear them on wet feet.

The most important rule is that your feet are dry or Fortisocks will lose its basic role, namely the prevention of blisters.

During testing I became convinced that Fortisocks really works. My feet always remained dry after each performed running, and even those trainers who knew to rub me after 10th kilometer no longer make problems.

As well as my feet remain dry after each run, during the run I did not feel that extra warming. This is good advantage when running longer distances.

One thing that should be taken into consideration is the durability of Fortisocks. Because they are thin, they can break easily. Personally I didn’t had problems with this and one pair has used continuously over testing period. Each pack comes with three pairs, so if you break one socks, they can be easily replaced.
